The Cariad Foundation, Inc is a 501(C)3 organization dedicated to not only raising awareness of eating disorders and the associated physical, emotional, and spiritual toll they take, but also to providing opportunities for those who cannot afford treatment to receive support toward it.
Eating disorders are highly complex and dangerous mental illnesses, and yet are often perceived as merely vanity gone wrong. It is the goal of The Cariad Foundation, Inc to provide education and to promote awareness and understanding of every aspect of the disease, while also offering emotional support for those afflicted by this condition that are seeking recovery.
As the foundation grows, it is our intention to pursue our goals and position ourselves within the eating disorder community as a resource to promote support along the road to recovery, with specific local financial support and education being provided.
The Cariad Foundation, Inc will treat everyone with respect and compassion at all times. We strive to always go the extra mile, reaching out and supporting those still struggling. Our commitment to fighting eating disorders is strong, and we refuse to let “Ed” be a presence in our lives or those we come in contact with.
